1. When can I enroll for Medicare supplement coverage?
You have a six month open enrollment period. The open enrollment starts the first day of the month of your 65th birthday. Make sure you have also enrolled in PART B with Medicare.
2. Does BlueCross and BlueShield of Oklahoma have a special open enrollment period?
Yes and no. We follow the same federal standard, however with BlueCross and BlusShield we can get you PRE ENROLLED up to a year before you turn 65, with an effective date the first day of your 65th birthday.
3. What information do I need to enroll?
Just your basic personal information along with your medicare card information if you have it. If you don't have Medicare yet we can still enroll you, but you will need to contact us with your card information as soon as you have it.
4. Can I just make a phone call to enroll for coverage?
Yes, we can now enroll you with BlueCross and BlueShield of Oklahoma over the phone.

5. Can I choose my own Doctors?
Yes, you still make those personal decisions.
6. Can I be turned down?
Yes and No. Only one time do you get this open enrollment period. You can be turned down outside of open enrollment.
